DevOps Engineer

Role

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team to support the growth of our internal OTT solution!

This is a full-time, hands-on role, which will see you expanding and improving our existing infrastructure codebase using modern infrastructure-as-code (IaC) patterns.

You will work with our development teams and technical architects to help shape, design, build and roll out our very own OTT solution, ensuring it meets both users and business needs while keeping a level head and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Design, simplify, document and implement IaC for a microservices-based architecture.
  • Managing our CI/CD infrastructure (specifically GitLab).
  • Managing systems such as DigitalOcean and OpenVPN.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience of cloud automation tools such as Terraform, Helm, SOPS, following modern software development tools and techniques.
  • Experienced in automation scripting, IaC, DevOps tools, and procedures.
  • Deploying, testing, and building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience in managing cloud-native, especially in a Kubernetes environment.
  • Experience working with data streaming solutions, such as Kafka, EventStore or NATS and knowledge of event sourcing.
  • Experience working with ELK (ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana) and Prometheus stacks.
  • Experience with e.g. KeyCloak, Hashicorp Vault, etc.
  • Experience with e.g. AWS or DigitalOcean.

Desirable

  • Experience in security infrastructure, in particular zero trust networks.
  • Knowledge of security best-practice standards in DevOps.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
