Recruitment Manager

Role

The recruitment manager is responsible for owning the recruitment process at FX Digital, allowing us to be confident and ambitious in our approach by finding and hiring high-calibre talent to support our continued growth.

Their objective is to find talented candidates who are the right fit for the job, team and company as a whole. They’ll be focused on the company’s long-term plans, striving to fill multiple positions while keeping employee turnover to a minimum.

They’ll work closely with the HR Manager and People Director to ensure a positive experience for all involved throughout the process (internally and externally) and to use data and research to iteratively define and refine our recruitment strategy and processes over time.

Our dynamic and energetic team of 50 is based in the beautiful Bentima House in Old Street, close to the hustle and bustle of Shoreditch.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our People Director and Leadership Team to produce a measurable recruitment strategy (“hiring plan”) that supports FX Digital’s business planning and is aligned with our core values and behaviours.
  • Full execution of the recruitment process (including producing hiring kits, job postings, screening applications, phone interviewing, job interviewing, regular communication with applicants and hiring managers) across a variety of roles.
    • Whilst perhaps sometimes lacking the understanding of what a specific job entails, you’ll always have deep knowledge of what FX Digital values in every employee.
  • Report the progress on assigned job vacancies on a regular basis, communicating early warnings and providing regular feedback about the performance of the recruitment process.
  • Work with our Marketing Manager and People Director to raise the profile of FX Digital as an employer both internally and externally.
  • Act with integrity and confidentiality to ensure a positive experience for applicants, hiring managers and anyone else in the recruitment process.
  • Research and utilise recruitment avenues which will ensure that FX Digital’s recruitment campaigns reach a diverse pool of potential high-calibre candidates.
  • Continually review and amend our recruitment process to ensure our methods consistently assess candidates against both the role requirements and FX Digital behaviours.
  • Advise recruiting managers on best practice guidelines and challenge behaviour where it is recognised that these are not being adhered to.
  • Introduce recruitment methods which ensure that candidate experience is always positive and promote the importance of this to hiring managers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a recruiter.
  • Proven experience hiring for roles in technology companies (across not just development/engineering but QA, design, product, project management, etc).
  • Proven experience using various interview formats (e.g. in person, over the phone, technical, cultural, group etc).
  • Proven experience with hiring senior and specialised roles.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Integrity and confidentiality.

Desirable

  • Experience in hiring for OTT/CTV roles.
  • Experience working in a digital agency or technology company.
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Stack Overflow, GitHub).
  • Experience in team management.
    • This role does not currently involve managing others, but as we hire more people in the recruitment team this will change.
  • Experience with hiring for managerial and leadership roles.

  • Location: FX Digital’s office is situated in the Bentima House, Old Street, East London
    • In light of the pandemic, FX Digital is currently operating on a hybrid working model, meaning that our team has the option to work from home but days in our London office will sometimes be required
  • Salary: Depending on experience, in between £40k-60k / year
